Need a good bottle of red wine really.?
My future in-laws are coming down in about two days and my boyfriend, "she says they are wine lovers
Go to a liquor or wine store and ask for suggestions. Tell them what you're thinking about serving and how much they are willing to spend and can usually recommend something good. A couple of my favorite wineries that are good without being are too expensive Kendall Jackson, Chateau St. Michelle and Columbia Crest. A notch above are in pounds or Coppola. There are some good Chilean red out there that are very good too. My favorite is the Santa Rita Reserva Cabernet. ETA: I realized that the first poster listed Stag's Leap. Their Merlot is to die for. I've seen it for about $ 28 - $ 30 bottle. I imagine their Cabernet is good too.
